Shrewsbury have released defender Lee Canoville after play-off rivals MK Dons confirmed they had offered the player a two year deal. Manager Gary Peters opted the released the on-loan Boston man rather than let him face a 'conflict of interest'.

Former Bulls loanee Michael Husbands is one of seven released by Port Vale. He played five times for the Bulls in early 2003. Also released is former Cardiff and Welsh international defender Rhys Weston. The 26 year old only joined the Valiants in February.
Bury have released seven players, and have offered seven more new contracts. Those released include former York manager Chris Brass and veteran keeper Alan Fettis. Barnet have confirmed that veteran midfielder Ian Hendon will be assistant manager next season. The 35 year old will retain a playing contract but will focus on coaching duties.
