Millwall slip to third on goal difference after losing 4-1 to Brighton and MK Dons' 1-0 win over Tranmere moves them up to fourth. Leicester, a goal down with three minutes left, beat Bristol Rovers 2-1 to stay fifth, with Peterboro's win over the Bulls moving them into sixth.
Down the bottom the Bulls are bottom on goals scored after Crewe's 3-2 loss to Huddersfield saw them equal the Bulls' goal difference. Leyton Orient beat Hartlepool 1-0 to move within a point of safety, with Carlisle their target after their 3-0 loss at Stockport. Yeovil moved two points clear after a surprise 2-0 win at Oldham, joining Colchester on 15 points after their 3-3 draw with Southend. In the other game Walsall arrested their poor run with a 3-1 home win over Northampton.
In League Two Darlington are the new leaders after a 2-1 win at Grimsby with the Mariners now 22 games without a win. Wycombe's goalless draw with Rotherham sees them slip to second ahead of Bradford and Exeter with Shrewsbury finding the goal trail again in fifth with a 3-0 win over barebones Luton.
In the Conference Kettering lead despite a 1-0 home loss to Weymouth. Torquay are second after their 2-0 win over Mansfield left the Field Mill outfit only a point off the drop. Forest Green drop into the relegation zone after their 3-1 loss at Barrow, while Kidderminster beat Grays to be only two points off the top.
