MK Dons have extended the loan of Jason Puncheon from Plymouth until the end of the season. The former Barnet man has scored once in ten games on loan so far after just seven games for the Pilgrims. Scottish side Stranraer give themselves only a 50/50 chance to survive the season. The part-time Second Division side owe £250,000 and are getting only 250 fans each match to cover a £5,000 a week wage bill.

Huddersfield are expected to be the next destination of ex-Leeds winger Seb Carole after he left Darlington after two months. The Terriers are also reported to be onto another striker target, with Dagenham man Paul Benson claimed to be a £150,000 target. Swindon are hoping for a lucrative ground share with Bath rugby club after the egg chasers were refused permission to redevelop their current home.

Southend's injury ravaged squad has been dealt a further blow with striker Alex Revell ruled out for the season after breaking his ankle on Tuesday night.
