Former Hereford United loanee Matt Murray has suffered a set-back in his recovery from a serious knee injury, sustained whilst on loan with The Bulls against MK Dons in late November.
English 'keeper Murray underwent further surgery on his troublesome knee after reporting pain during his rehabilitation. Murray is set to miss the start of the Premiership season and may be looking for a loan move to once again build up fitness. The Wolves goalie was tipped to play for England before sustaining a number of knee injuries; his only appearences in the past two seasons came for United when he played against Cheltenham and Northampton at home, and 50 minutes at the Milton Keynes Bowl.
