Crewe striker Anthony Elding has been linked with a move to Hungary. Ex-Derby man Craig Short is manager of Ferencvaros, owned by Sheff Utd owner Kevin McCabe, and is claimed to want the striker. Update: Crewe have released Elding, who cost the £170,000 18 months ago. Accrington have offered strikers Michael Symes and Bobby Grant new contracts in a bid to keep them. They have also extended the deals of Peter Murphy and Gary King until the end of the season, and extended the loan of Billy Kee from Leicester until the summer.
Cheltenham have extended the loan of Bristol Rovers midfielder David Pipe for a second month. Port Vale have extended the loan of striker Lewis Haldane until the end of the season after the player failed to negotiate a permanent Bristol Rovers departure. Ex-Bull Mark Beesley is wanted on loan by Histon from local rivals Cambridge Utd.
Lincoln have extended the loan of striker Delroy Facey for another month, midfielder Nathan Baker for a third month, but ended loan deals for defenders Eric Lihaj and Joe Heath. They have also extended the loan of midfielder Chris Herd until the end of the season. Shrewsbury have agreed the mutual termination of goalkeeper Glyn Garner's contract. The 33 year old has been out injured for more than a year.
Northampton have told defender Pat Kanyuka his contract will not be renewed when it expired at the end of January.
