Cargill Extend Sponsorship of Hereford United

Cargill have agreed to extend their sponsorship of Hereford United until 2013. The deal announced this morning will mean the company will have sponsored the Bulls for 22 years, the longest of any club in the English Leagues.

"We are extremely grateful to Cargill Meats Europe for its continued support of the club. This deal will help secure our status for the next three years and will allow us to build for the future. We have enjoyed an excellent relationship with the company over the last 19 years and look forward to continuing that in the future," said Hereford United chairman Graham Turner.

There is no news on the value of the deal.

In addition to their shirt sponsorship Cargill will also be supporting Hereford United in the Community.

"Hereford United in the Community is a fantastic initiative which we are extremely proud to support," said Chris Hall who is commercial director at Cargill.

"Our business has operated within Hereford for half a century and we are always looking at ways to support the local community. We are hoping that the scheme will provide inspiration and encouragement to people living across the county. I have no doubt that it will be a great success and I look forward to being personally involved in helping youngsters be a part of this great football club."
