Grimsby live to fight another day after beating Barnet 2-0 in their crunch relegation match. They will go into the final day needing to win at Burton and hope that Barnet fail to beat Rochdale at home. Cheltenham remain a mathematical possibility to go down after losing 5-0 at Notts County, but they would need to lose heavily again next weekend at home to Accrington to set that possibility up. Already relegated Darlington beat Macclesfield 2-0.
At the top Bournemouth move up to second after beating Port Vale 4-0, while Rochdale lost 2-1 at home to Burton. Rotherham secured their play-off spot after a goalless draw with Crewe, and Aldershot sealed their place with a 3-1 win over Lincoln, but the other two spots are still being chased by six sides. Morecambe, 3-2 winners over mid-table Shrewsbury, and Dagenham are in those spots at present. Bury lost 3-0 at home to Torquay to surrender their spot, and Chesterfield lost 2-0 at off-form Accrington. Northampton lost 2-0 at Bradford and would realistically need snookers to make the cut.
At the foot of League One, Wycombe are down after losing 2-0 at Leyton Orient to leave only one relegation spot unconfirmed. Tranmere hold the uncomfortable position at present despite beating Millwall 2-0. They are 17 goals worse off than Exeter on 48 points, with Gillingham the only other side still realistically in danger despite beating Southampton 2-1. Next week Tranmere travel to Stockport, Exeter entertain Huddersfield, and Gillingham go to Wycombe.
