It is 74 years to the day since the Bulls became a limited company.
John Barker, Ernest Wilde, Thomas Griffiths, Alfred Harrison, and Leslie Watson were the first Directors of the newly formed company, with Thomas Price becoming Company Secretary.
Back then, each director had to hold at least 10 shares of the issued 4,000, totalling £1,000 share capital. In today's money, allowing for inflation, each share would now be worth £13.82. The current issued share capital is £10,000, with the 40,000 shares given a nominal value of 25p each and each Director required to hold 400 (1%) in order to sit on the board.
The Bulls' current shareholders will meet tonight to vote on the proposed share issue that could see more than eight million new shares put into circulation.
