The Bulls' gap to the bottom four is six points after today's results, with the bottom four all losing. Hyde went down 2-1 at Braintree, and Tamworth lost 2-0 at Halifax. Dartford lost 3-0 to Southport, who lifted themselves a place above Chester, who drew 3-3 with Nuneaton. Aldershot lost 3-2 at home to Lincoln to have a three point gap to 20th place Chester.
At the top, Luton's 3-0 win over Alfreton was their 13th straight home win. That kept them 14 points clear with Cambridge demolishing Kidderminster 5-1 to leave the Harriers in tenth place with a zero goal difference. Barnet are third despite losing 3-1 at home to Woking, with Alfreton fourth and Nuneaton fifth. Salisbury are a point behind in sixth after a 2-0 loss at Grimsby, who move up to seventh. Gateshead are eighth after a 1-1 draw with Forest Green, while Welling beat Macclesfield 1-0 to move back above the Silkmen in mid-table.
At the foot of League Two, Torquay are seven points from safety after a 3-0 loss at Hartlepool. Northampton are four short after a goalless draw with Bristol Rovers, with the bottom two chasing a pack of clubs that have just six points separating 22nd and 10th in the table.
