Barnet are third despite losing 3-1 at home to Woking, with Alfreton fourth and Nuneaton fifth. Salisbury are a point behind in sixth after a 2-0 loss at Grimsby, who move up to seventh. Gateshead are eighth after a 1-1 draw with Forest Green, while Welling beat Macclesfield 1-0 to move back above the Silkmen in mid-table.
At the foot of League Two, Torquay are seven points from safety after a 3-0 loss at Hartlepool. Northampton are four short after a goalless draw with Bristol Rovers, with the bottom two chasing a pack of clubs that have just six points separating 22nd and 10th in the table.
