Torquay manager Keith Curle wants a final day victory so the club can sign off from the Football League with pride.
He told the Herald Express: "It's very important to sign off with a win. Not only a win, but a performance level that shows the meaning of the football club. It's important we end the season on the right note.
"There's a minimum requirement that comes out of that changing room. The club will never be without pride, or passionless. We go out and we try and play football in the right manner, earn the right to play football and try and entertain.
Torquay will go into the game with just rookie Martin Horsell available for goalkeeping cover. The club have relied on loan keepers since Nathan Abbey departed in January. They will also be without defenders Stev Angus, Craig Taylor, and Matt Villis, while Lee Thorpe sits out through suspension. The forward ranks could be further troubled as Richard Graham is doubtful.
As previously reported Richard Rose is out for the Bulls with a broken toe, while Andy Ferrell and Martyn Giles also sit out. Marcus Palmer and at least one other of the current crop of teenagers are expected to feature in the game.
