Hereford United aren't the only League Two club with work needed on their pitch.
Darlington are reported to be about to spend £150,000 on the playing surface of their pitch this summer.
It has not been revealed how much Hereford are to spend but if it is anywhere near £150,000 it will be the largest expenditure at Edgar Street for years.
As Hereford's year ends this month it is assumed that the expenditure will come out of next years budget.
Graham Turner has already revealed that he expects to break even in this twelve months.
Meanwhile Peterborough are another club hoping to improve their pitch.
Posh are said to be spending £50,000.
