Former Bulls captain Tony James has left Weymouth for Burton Albion, according to the Derby Telegraph.
James, 28, left the Bulls last summer after a season struggling with injury. His early time at Weymouth also saw him struggle for fitness, making just 26 league starts after making 272 appearances for the Bulls in an eight year stay.
Despite his recent injury problems, Nigel Clough has signed James on a two year deal, telling the paper: "When you look at the centre halves who we can sign with Conference experience, we don't think we can do too much better than Tony."
James is said to be moving to a house close to the Pirelli Stadium.
"That's the way it is with me - I always commit 100 per cent to a club," said James.
"Nigel Clough is very ambitious and he knows that, next season, we ought to make the play-offs."
