Stat Attack!

With Jordan Fitzpatrick making a debut against Torquay on Saturday, the Bulls fielded 30 players this season compared to 26 last season. Of the 30, only Glyn Thompson didn't make a Football League appearance with his only game coming in the Johnstones Paint Trophy.

Fitzpatrick's 17 minute cameo is not the shortest appearance time for the Bulls this season, with Jon Wallis managing just 16 minutes on the pitch in two seperate sub appearances. Simon Osborn's sole appearance lasted 18 minutes with Paul Harrison, an opening day sub for Wayne Brown, seeing 19 minutes of action.

Player of the Year Rob Purdie played in all but two games this season to be the most 'visible' player, racking up 49 starts and two sub appearances. The club's longest serving player has made a total of 209 appearances, scoring 27 times. He is one of only 13 players to have made over 200 appearances for the club since 1972.

Dean Beckwith committed the most fouls, with 40 of the club's 368 offences, and also conceded the most penalties. And he was also sent off the most. However the 'dirtiest player in the game' on a fouls per minute ratio was Tim Sills. Sills did lose one crown though, with wayward shooting in the last couple of matches lowering his shooting accuracy below that of Stuart Fleetwood amongst the contracted forwards with Fleetwood attaining 0.1% better accuracy that Sills' 54%

Despite committing the fewest fouls in the Division, and indeed the entire Football League, we had five players sent off. Only one player received a ban for five Yellow cards, with Tamika Mkandawire reaching that total. Bad boy of the division, Jason Lee of Notts County, committed 147 fouls on his own, collecting 18 yellow cards and three seperate bans.

League attendances were way up. Last season, 2,793 was the average attendance while this time round the gates saw a 3,327 average - over 500 people, or around £6,000 a game, better off. Bristol Rovers were the star attraction, attracting the only attendance over 5,000. Boston were the turn-off, seeing just 2,176.

Only Rochdale had a lower average attendance and finished above us, while only Wrexham had a higher average attendance and finished below the Bulls meaning the Bulls sit in exactly the same place on the attendance table as they do on the points table. League Two saw over 2.28million people through the doors in total, with the average attendance around 1,000 more than the Bulls' average.
