Alan Connell has left the Bulls, and signed for Brentford on a two year deal.
The Bulls top scorer from last season has signed a two year deal with Terry Butcher's side, telling their official site that he wanted to return to his 'hometown' of London:
"Terry and Andy are passionate about their football; as am I, and having listened to what they had to say I was very, very keen to join. I had a good year at Hereford but felt that I wanted to get back to London as it's where I'm from, but the opportunity of working for Terry and Andy was the main factor in why I chose to move.
"I'm coming to score as many goals as I can, and hopefully contribute to a successful season."
Connell scored ten times in fifty appearances for the Bulls, making him the only Bulls goalscorer to make it to double figures last season. His departure leaves just four out of contract players at Edgar Street, assuming Andy Williams' move to Bristol Rovers is finally confirmed.
