Morecambe have signed defender Dave Artell, who was released by Chester earlier in the summer. The former Rotherham player was voted player of the year last season by Chester fans. They have also signed midfielder Carl Baker on a three year deal from Southport for a fee believed to be more than £25,000.
Wrexham have transfer listed striker Lee McEvilly, who has a year left on his current deal. He had an injury hit campaign last season, but still scored eight times from 19 starts and 11 sub appearances.
