Former Bulls midfielder Danny Thomas has spoken about his move to Macclesfield to their official site:
"What can they expect of Danny Thomas? Well I love to get forward and attack the opposition whenever I can using a combination of my pace and skills. I wouldn't say I was an out and out goal scorer, more a provider capable of putting in some telling crosses from out wide. But that said I know I should be chipping in with more goals and that's one of my targets for this season."
"However the first thing is to prove to the gaffer I am worthy of a starting place. That would mean a lot to me as last year was a very frustrating time. I had turned down a new contract offer at Boston in the summer and decided to take my chances elsewhere. Things didn't go exactly to plan and following a spell with Shrewsbury after the turn of the New Year I signed on non-contract terms for Hereford. I enjoyed my time at Edgar Street and got some games under my belt. They offered me a deal to stay this season but it was only for another 12 months. I wanted the security of a two year deal and when I heard Macclesfield were interested in signing me it didn't take too long to decide."
