Former Bulls player Simon Travis is reported to be being pursued by a number of clubs. Recently relegated Torquay United have shown interest in both Travis and ex-Yeovil player Andy Lindegaard but an article in today's South Devon Herald Express casts doubts on the signing of both players. Lindegaard last night played for Cheltenham Town in a friendly and is said to be in talks with manager John Ward today while Travis is reported to be interesting at least two of his former clubs with Stockport and Stevenage included in the list. Travis spent time at Torquay in the early part of his career and will be known to manager Paul Buckle who was an established player at Plainmoor when Travis was a youngster. The Strawberry Blonde's other clubs include Telford and Forest Green.
Meanwhile, Scott Tynan is having a trial at Morecambe. The Shrimps have two senior keepers, but Scott Davies is currently having a trial at Gillingham while Steve Drench is still out with the shoulder injury that cost him a place at the play-off final.
