Crewe have axed keeper Steve Collis, and appear to have agreed a loan extension to the end of the season for Bristol Rovers stopper Steve Phillips. Burton have released defender Aaron Brown, now surplus after ex-Bull Richard Jackson's arrival, and striker Serge Makofo. Aldershot have allowed club captain Adam Hinshelwood to join Wycombe on a free transfer.

The club, who have a flourishing youth academy, have made 120 staff and players redundant but hope to save the academy and reform in the Third Division.
