Hereford United manager John Trewick has admitted that he would like to the weather to improve as soon as possible. Training has been disrupted and the Bulls face the possibility of having three home games called off in a row.
"The training schedule has been disrupted," Trewick told the Worcester News.
"Matches have been called off and it’s never ideal when that happens so we are just looking to get back to some kind of normality against Crewe. The forecast isn’t great but we have just got to get on with it.
"We had a period of over a week when we couldn’t get on the grass at all and we had to go indoors to a gym and on some astroturf.
"There were also a couple of days when there was nothing available at all because of the holiday period and we had to do sessions in the gym at Edgar Street and around the pitch."
Meanwhile Dario Gradi, the Crewe director of football, appears well aware of the threat Kenny Lunt could be tomorrow.
"I hate facing our former players, especially when we are up against someone as bright and intelligent in his play as Kenny Lunt," Gradi told the Crewe OS.
"I would imagine he has been planning our downfall for a few days now and it will be nice to see him again. He has always been a favourite player of mine, ever since I first worked with him as a 9 year-old.
"I regard Kenny as a friend and I have the highest regard for him as a footballer as well."
