Hereford United midfielder James McQuilken admitted he was delighted to have been choosen as man of the match at Edgar Street this afternoon but stressed the main thing was winning the game.
"It was what we needed," McQuilken told BBC Hereford and Worcester. "and I was glad to score a goal as well.
"Especially in the first half with the wind and rain it was very difficult to get the ball down and play.
"A lot of the time it was long balls and Barnet put a lot of pressure on us and we had to soak it up.
"Eventually we got two goals and won the game.
"It's always nice to play well and win as well, it's a great feeling and even to get a goal, I'm delighted.
"Mathieu picked me out and I managed to finish it off."
