Despite the threat of snow and frost Hereford United are making every effort to ensure Saturday's match against Macclesfield Town can go ahead.

"The pitch is fine," manager Jamie Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester earlier today.

"The covers are going to go on today so, fingers crossed, we can get the game on for the weekend.

"If others play games and you end up being well behind, it's a big catch-up thing then if though you have got games in hand. It's tends to get very mental then."
