The Met Office are predicting heavy overnight rain in Hartlepool over the next two nights, with the Bulls due to face Gateshead there on Tuesday.
Tonight, the forecasters expect heavy rain from midnight through to mid-morning, followed by light rain through the day before a second shorter downpour on Monday night. Tuesday is expected to bring both sleet and snow, with temperatures dropping to zero on the night of the game.
Last week Hartlepool withdrew Gateshead's right to use the ground, for their game with Newport, due to poor weather and the need to protect the surface. The monkey hangers will play their next home match on Saturday and may yet make the same decision.
