Speculation that Wayne Brown is to leave Hereford United continues to gather pace.
The ex-Chester goalkeeper is believed to want to return north to be closer to his family.
Brown is on a two year contract at Edgar Street and, if the speculation is correct that he is to leave, Graham Turner may hope for a fee for his first choice goalkeeper.
He has kept Hereford United in many games in the last two seasons. Just last Saturday he pulled off one flying save at Torquay which would have been a credit to the top keepers playing in the Premiership. He will be difficult to replace.
Stockport are understood to be one club interested in Brown's signature.
Recently the Bulls have had several young goalkeepers on trial at Edgar Street. Whether any of them will be offered a contract remains to be seen.
However Glyn Thompson, who has been Hereford's number two keeper this season, is expected to be released.
