Former Bulls defender Andy Tretton will take in the pre-season with Telford prior to deciding whether to continue a footballing career.
Tretton, 30, took an insurance payout on leaving Accrington in April and can only continue football in the non-league game. He will test his fitness alongside fellow ex-Bull Richard Teesdale to see whether his knee injury is capable of the rigours of the semi-pro game.
Telford assistant boss Leroy Chambers told the Shropshire Star: "Andy's got himself a job, he's working and he's looking to play part-time. He was with us last night and we've agreed that he will do pre-season. We'll get him involved in some of the friendlies.
"He told me that if he comes through pre-season and I want him, then he'd be happy to stay. I don't think he’s actually played for six months but he looked in decent shape last night, I was quite surprised actually."
