Andy Williams has spoken to the official Bristol Rovers website about his move from Edgar Street:
"In January I was close, I came down here for talks and I was more than impressed with what they had to say, but at the time I decided that it would be so awkward to move down here with two days' notice, and I hadn't long recovered from illness at Hereford which meant I'd hadn't played a massive amount.
"I wanted to sort things out after January, and I spent the whole time thinking about my future and in my head I chose Bristol Rovers. I kept an eye on the club and saw them on television quite a lot, and when they won promotion it made the decision even easier. I still have a lot of time for Hereford, my dad is involved there, and I might go back from time-to-time to watch them if I get time off. I hope they do well in League Two next season, and I wish them all well."
