It's back - The '200 Club'!
The '200 Club' raises money for the football club; the VP club ran it for some years - until 1999, writes Jon Hale. I have accepted the challenge of re-launching it and this time it will be open to anyone who wants to play.
For those of you who have never heard of it, or don't know how it works then see 'Rules' below.
In the first instance I would be grateful if you email me at jonhale@hadopolythene.co.uk if you are interested. It costs just £24 per annum and that entitles you to 11 draws (explanation of draws and prize money below).
It is a very simple competition that could earn you £500 in the yearly SUPERDRAW, or one of three prizes monthly.
Initial reaction to its relaunch was fantastic in the VP club on Saturday (and that was before we beat Farnborough!), so I am expecting numbers to be high.
On receiving an email declaring your interest I will mail you everything you need to know about the competition and how to enter and pay.
I look forward to an equally fantastic reaction!
200 CLUB RULES
1. Costs £24 annually - payment by cash/cheque (ideally) or direct debit
2. You are given a number between 1 and 200 which remains as your number for the season.
3. There are 10 monthly draws (Aug to May) which will take place in the VP club towards the end of each month.
1st - £50, 2nd - £25, 3rd - £10.
4. In May there is a SUPERDRAW, which is one prize of £500.
5. Winners will be notified by post, and names of winners will appear (hopefully) in the programme and web sites.
