Turner confirms injury crisis

Graham Turner told the NLP that he is facing an injury crisis at Edgar Street.

"Adam Stansfield, Ryan Green and Danny Williams had reported problems before the game," said the Hereford United manager.

"Lee Mills was not totally right, but was pressed into service and Danny Carey-Bertram has problems with his hamstring.

"We just hope some of them will be fit for Tuesday."

Turner will be without Joe Anyinsah for the LDV game but is pleased with his signing.

"Joe gives us something that we haven't had since Paul Parry left last season."

Meanwhile Simon Travis commented about yesterday's defeat: "It was soul-destroying. We had enough possesion and created enough chances to have won two or three games.

The Dagenham manager, John Still, noted that Tony Roberts, his goalkeeper, didn't really have much to do in the game. However he did say that Hereford are a very good side.

The stats for yesterday's game at Edgar Street revealed the problems Hereford had as the Bulls only managed three shots on target, but gained eleven corners.
