Barrick hopeful of win

Dean Barrick, the Hucknall player/manager, knows his side will have to give a good showing if they are to defeat Hereford United this evening.

"We'll have to work as hard as we did on Saturday and have a bit more quality about us tonight," Barrick told This Is Nottingham.

"We can play better than we did and there's more to come from us. We didn't use the ball as well as we can, but our work rate earned us a replay.

"We will have to defend very well. They will play the same way as they did on Saturday and they will create chances.

"They scored two excellent goals in the first game and there wasn't much we could have done to prevent them."

Asked about the possibility of extra-time and penalties tonight Barrick replied:

"I'm not fussed. We'll give it our best shot and we'll just get on with it. I'll be pleased if we get through, however we do it.

"Our record from penalties isn't very good but if it comes to it, we'll just have to run up and smash the ball as hard as we can! There will be a few tired legs tonight, but I know they will put in the effort."
