Bulls go through after initial shock

Hereford United defeated Eastwood Town 4-2 this evening at Edgar Street, but the Bulls didn't have it all their own way as Eastwood could have gone three up in the first fifteen minutes and overall gave a very creditable performance. Full report shortly.

The next round of the Trophy will be on March 12th when Hereford entertain Hucknall at Edgar Street.

Meanwhile results in the Conference have gone in Hereford's favour again. Barnet, the leaders, lost at York 2-1.Aldershot beat Exeter 2-1 and Stevenage lost at home to Morecambe by the only goal of the match.

Hereford United now lie in seventh position with games in hand over all but Carlisle.
