Hereford United will be firm favourites when they visit The Lamb to take on Tamworth this evening, kick off 7.45. The Lambs haven't won in six league games and will probably not be too optimistic in taking much from this game with the Bulls, who haven't been beaten in their previous four league outings. Also, Tamworth haven't scored in their last four games, whereas the Bulls have only conceded once in their last four league games.
Hereford may have Adam Stansfield fit for the game. However as he didn't make the subs bench Saturday it's possible he has not yet fully recovered. Jamie Pitman is still a doubt for United, so it will be no suprise if Graham Turner names an unchanged side.
Tamworth have doubts over the fitness of David Robinson who is suffering from a foot problem. David Bampton is the Lambs only other expected absentee as he is suspended for the fixture.
Hereford need to take all three points from this game to push them back into the play off positions, following the disappointment of the home draw against Morecambe on Saturday. The win could put United into third place, just one point off second position and with games in hand of many of their other rivals for the play off positions.
