Hereford secure Play-off place

Hereford United drew with Woking 1-1 last evening at the Kingsfield Stadium.

Danny Carey-Bertram scored the Bulls goal in the second half but sustained Cards pressure resulted in a late equaliser.

The result means that although Hereford stay in third position they have secured a play-off place. Around 500 Bulls supporters watched the game.

The start was delayed by ten minutes because of both loudspeaker problems and crowd congestion. Some 100 Hereford fans were still waiting to enter the ground at 7.45pm.

Woking started the game well and it took Hereford ten or fifteen minutes to settle but afterwards the Bulls looked more likely to score.

Full report late this afternoon.

Other results last night included:

Barnet 1 Carlise 1
Accrington Stanley 3 Aldershot 3
Crawley Town 1 Stevenage 2
Farnborough 3 Halifax 2
Morecambe 3 Forest Green 1

There is a full programme of Conference games on Saturday. It looks likely that the Bulls will finish either second or third. Fans will be watching to see which team ends the season in fourth and fifth to see whom the Bulls play in the play-offs. At present two of the five teams from 4th to 8th can make it.
