Simon Travis has told the Non-League Paper that Hereford United are just glad to be in the play-offs.
"Two months ago we were ninth. We've come on a good run. We're scoring more goals and starting to keep clean sheets.
"That's why it is different to last year. What we've got to do is play like we have in the past two months.
"It's been a fanastic season again. To finish second in the Conference two years on the trot is a great achievement - now we have to build on that and win the play-offs."
Full-back Travis thinks the squad are stronger after the heartbreak of missing out on promotion last season.
"The whole experience of the play-offs is great for everybody involved with the club and the town.
"These are two massive games, but they are totally different games because the match is over 180 minutes. It's our version of the Chelsea-Liverpool Champions League semi-final. Jose Mourinho said nothing would be won or lost in the first leg and we are saying the same.
"The four clubs in the play-offs are evenly matched. Stevenage are strong, physical and lively up front. They are dangerous from set pieces and have pace going forward, just like us.
"But we are confident and training has been great this week. I'm sure they are going to be two close games."
