Skipper signs on with two more

Tony James, Rob Purdie and Craig Mawson have all signed new twelve month deals with Hereford, reports the Hereford United official website.

Tony James, the longest serving player in the squad at the moment, has signed on ending speculation linking him with a move away from Edgar Street and is expected to continue his role as the club captain for another season.

Rob Purdie will play his fourth season for the Bulls and will be aiming to improve on last seasons disappointing return. With a full, injury free, pre-season behind him we may see more of the same Purdie from a couple of seasons ago when he was a massive fixture in the United team.

Craig Mawson, who signed on earlier this season, will have his first pre-season at Hereford. The website also reports that more signings are expected later on in the week.
