Michael Husbands is on trial with Bristol Rovers and could return to Edgar Street next Saturday when Rovers play Hereford United.
Husbands, a winger, was formally with Aston Villa and briefly came to Hereford United in 2003. He played five times for the Bulls, but then moved to Southend.
Ian Atkins, the Rovers manager, included Husbands in his side which was defeated by Aldershot last night 2-0.
Meanwhile Michael Parkins, the ex-Cardiff City player, may play at Edgar Street this evening. He did not feature for Yeovil last night in their friendly.
