Reunion at Stanley

Three former Hereford United players are expected to meet up again at the Interlink Stadium this afternoon when Cardiff City travel north for their first friendly of the season against Accrington Stanley.

Paul Parry will be hopeful of playing for at least part of the match under the watchful eyes of his new manager Dave Jones. Parry missed parts of last season with injury but was kept on at Ninian Park whereas several of his team colleagues have been sold to reduce the wage bill.

David Brown has already played for Accrington since his move from Edgar Street but it will be the first outing for Andy Tretton who decided to move from Hereford last May despite being offered a new deal by Graham Turner.

Meanwhile Kevin Street, who once had a trial at Edgar Street, is said to be likely to join Burton Albion.
