Trewick comments on friendly

John Trewick, the Hereford United coach, spoke to the Non-League Paper after yesterday's friendly with Bristol Rovers.

"For the vast majority of the game we did well, looking pretty sound defensively, passing slickly and scoring a couple of very good goals.

"While winning is good for confidence, it's not about winning today, it's about winning when the League matches start."

Meanwhile some supporters commented on how new signing Alex Jeannin seemed prone to be out of position if yesterday's game is typical of the Frenchman's play.

He also appears to have a personality problem with another new signing, Dean Beckwith.

On several occasions Beckwith, who seemed to be running the defence, called Jeannin into position only to be answered back.

Tony James, the Hereford United captain, must have noticed Beckwith signaling to Jeannin. However he appeared content to let them sort it out.
