Turner to look at several trialists again

Graham Turner will take another look at several trialists this afternoon when Bristol Rovers come to Edgar Street for a friendly, kick-off 3pm.

To date the following have played at least a part-game for the Bulls in the two friendlies that have already been played:

Tony Collins, Andy Ferrell, Graham Evans, Rees Smith, Rob Williams, Clint Davies, Michael Parkins, and Carl Jones.

Stacy Coldicott has yet to play for the Bulls. It is unclear whether his contract with his ex-club Grimsby may stop him playing until August.

Bristol Rovers will be without striker Junior Agogo and midfielde Michael Hunt but is expected to take another look at trialists Shaun Marshall, Matt Somner, Jamie Fullarton and Michael Husbands.

Husbands, who once played a few games for Hereford, has been out of the game for several months with knee and groin problems and is eager to play for Rovers.

"Ian Atkins invited me down for pre-season as a chance to get myself fit. I hadn't played football for eight months, I'd been a Lilleshall before coming to Rovers, so he was doing me a big favour really," Husbands told the Official Bristol Rovers Website.
