Scarborough Football Club have decided not to name their captain for the game against Hereford United until Saturday.
This is from the Scarborough Official Site:
Boro fans do not yet know who will be leading the team out onto the field at Edgar Street on Saturday. Last season's skipper Scott Kerr is now on the books of Lincoln City.
Boro head coach Nick Henry says that he has decided on his new captain for the coming season, but Boro fans will have to wait until Saturday's Conference opener at Hereford to find out who it is.
Both Steve Baker and Neil Bishop have donned the armband as Henry seeks to replace Scott Kerr, with Bishop seemingly the favourite after skippering the side in Saturday's 4-0 win over Sunderland.
"I've made my mind up on who the captain will be but I won't be letting anyone know until Saturday as the players don't know yet either," said Henry.
