Team News: Stevenage vs Bulls

Hereford manager Graham Turner may have a selection headache with four players struggling for fitness ahead of Saturdays clash. Alex Jeannin (Achilles) and Jon Brady (Hamstring) were both substituted in last weeks draw against Altrincham, Guy Ipoua is still receiving daily treatment to a Hamstring injury, and Adam Stansfield also picked up a minor knock on Saturday. Whilst Stansfield is likely to be fit, the other three are all expected to face late fitness tests. The loss of Jeannin could be the hardest to cover with both the other recognised full backs, Ryan Green and Simon Travis, already ruled out due to suspension and injury. Rob Purdie made an adequate deputy in Green's place last week and Andy Ferrell was tested in the position in the midweek friendly win against Bristol Rovers, but neither are truly familiar with the position. The loss of Brady will also pose questions with his likely replacement, Purdie, already potentially earmarked for a full back berth. This may result in Danny Carey Bertram dropping into midfield, and a first start for Graham Evans if Ipoua isn't fit. In some better news, both Tamika Mkandawire and Jamie Pitman came through the midweek friendly unscathed and will come into contention.

Stevenage have two players, Dino Maamria and Captain Jason Goodliffe, suspended but otherwise pick from virtually a full squad. Defender Barry Laker played 70 minutes in the reserves on Tuesday after a brief season debut against Halifax last weekend and could figure but, barring tactical changes, Graham Westley is likely to keep the same starting XI that beat Halifax 1-0.
