Wallace Refuses Access For Cameras

Stevenage Chairman Phil Wallace has refused to allow conferencefootball.tv cameras into Broadhall Way for the match against Exeter on Tuesday 20th September. In an article that appears on confguide.com, it is noted that he refused permission "despite pleas from fellow colleagues".

There are two stand-out points from this press release. Firstly, Phil Wallace was keen to take the praise as a "key player" in the deal that set up of the original Conference internet streaming setup "The Footballers Football Channel" which eventually led to the current conferencefootball.tv facility. Secondly, with Wallace also acting as Vice Chairman of the Conference, the article does not appear on either the official Conference website or the conferencefootball.tv site despite all three sites - Confguide, the official site, and the tv site, all being under the control of the same company. In fact it is the only news article in over two weeks on Confguide to not appear, word for word, on the Official Site.

The match between Aldershot and Hereford is still scheduled to take place live on conferencefootball.tv on 27th September.
