Conference Results Round Up

Eight of the top nine won yesterday. Grays beat Scarboro 5-0 to stay top and dump Scarboro on the bottom on goal difference from Burton. York (2nd) left it late to seal a 2-1 win over Canvey, Exeter moved up to third with a 2-0 win over Crawley, after Accrington (4th) lost 3-1 at Stevenage (6th). Morecambe (5th) beat Dag & Red (10th) 2-0. Halifax (7th) beat Cambridge 1-0. Woking (8th) beat Forest Green 3-0. Altrincham beat Southport by a single goal, and Aldershot beat Kidderminster by the same margin after having Darren Barnard sent off, and Tamworth also managed a 1-0 victory over Gravesend.


Our LDV opponents, Mansfield, remain rooted to the bottom of League Two after a single goal defeat at Carlisle, while our FA Cup opponents, Alfreton, drew 0-0 with Stalybridge after dominating the game.
