The Official Cardiff website reports the reserves match finished goalless. Cardiff reserve manager Paul ilkinson is quoted as saying: "On a different day we could have won the game comfortably, but the lads had a good work out and it was a chance for some of the players who are on the fringe of the first team to get some match sharpness about them. It was a very worth while exercise and the lads did well and came through it without anyone picking up an injury."
