Speaking to the Worcester Evening News, Graham Turner admitted his goal-shy side were not firing up front: "We are not finishing off chances and not creating as many as we would like, it's just one of those periods that we are going through. We are not playing too badly but, at the moment, we are not producing that final ball.
"It's a combination of a number of things. For instance, strikers go through spells where the goals don't flow and spells when they do. We've had nine different goalscorers this season but we have not put the ball in the net consistently enough. Our last three goals have come from strikers and that is positive. But I think we need to have more contributions from midfield and other areas. With the quality we've got in the squad, there is enough for us to score goals and they will come."
