Williams pleased with start

Andy Williams, the young Hereford United striker, was pleased to get a start in last night's LDV game.

"I started off a bit slow but got into the game after a while," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester after last nights game.

"The pace was a bit quicker than we normally play in the Conference although they didn't have all their first teamers out. Once I got into the game I thought I did alright

"I've been dying for this opportunity and now it's come along I'm trying my best, trying to make sure I take the opportunities I get.

"Hopefully I've done that tonight and maybe done enough to get a run-out in the FA Cup match on Saturday."
