Adam Stansfield came off the bench and scored an excellent goal with only his second touch of the ball for the Bulls this afternoon. Looking fully fit he has probably staked a good claim for a starting place in next weeks Trophy game at Bognor.
Reporting for BBC Hereford and Worcester, Keith Hall suggested that after Stansfield had scored his instant reaction was to come to the bench and point out that he was a goalscorer, put me in the team.
Stansfield replied that it was because his wife was watching!
"You have to respect the decisions of management. What they say goes. You've just got to try and prove that you can put yourself in contention for next week," he said.
The York manager, Billy McEwan, spoke well of Stansfield in an interview for BBC Radio York.
"They brought their sub on, he's a good player, showed a bit of class. That's why he has played for Yeovil, he's got League experience, quality finish.
"Just their luck that they brought him on!"
Jeannin, Brady and Ipoua were all booked this afternoon. Brady now has five cards and will probably miss the Trophy Game next Saturday.
