4-5-1 something different said Stanley

Hereford United's decision to play a 4-5-1 formation in the first half of last night's LDV game wasn't successful.

"It was just something different because I think maybe Adam's injury at the weekend," commented Craig Stanley to BBC Hereford and Worcester after the end of the game.

"That was the thought of doing something different, but we changed it a little bit (in the second half), but I still think even with that formation we still done well."

Ryan Green was on the bench last night as was Carl Lewis. Graham Turner obviously decided not to risk another game without a sub-goalie.

At least Turner will have a cheque to look forward to. The Bulls will receive £12,000 for their run in the LDV this season.

Off the pitch, much to the embarrassment of the vast majority of the Hereford supporters, there were 'handbags' between a couple of so-called fans early in the first half.

It looked as though an minor element were not there for the football.
