Hereford United were defeated 2-0 by Macclesfield last night in the LDV game.
In truth the scoreline flattered the Silkmen who scored both their goals in the first half.
Hereford surprised supporters by playing just Guy Ipoua up-front in the first half. This tactic didn't work and they changed to a 4-4-2 formation in the second half.
The Bulls had several chances after half-time with Ipoua, in particular, unlucky not to score. Macclesfield hardly had a shot on target in the second period.
And fortune was not with Hereford as the referee, Mr Kettle, failed to see at least one hand-ball in the Macclesfield area.
Around 300 or so Bulls supporters made the trip to Moss Road.
Full report later today.
