Hereford United's visitors tomorrow, Forest Green Rovers, were in fine form yesterday when they defeated Aldershot 4-2 at the Lawn.
The Forest Green front pair of Guy Madjo (on time for this game) and Julian Alsop were singled out for praise by Shots manager Terry Brown.
The game was held up twice because of power cuts which also affected Nailsworth.
Aldershot have conceded eight goals in their two holiday games and Brown wasn't happy.
"We knew this would be a difficult place to come and credit to them because they thoroughly deserved to win the match. It would have been an utter injustice if the lights had prevented them from winning the match. We have been beaten by a better team on the day and we didn't cope with the forward pairing who, again, were a real handful," Brown told ShotsWeb.
The Bulls drew with Forest Green last Monday at the Lawn. On that occasion Madjo only played a part of the game but scored within minutes of coming on.
The pitch at the Lawn wasn't the greatest, and Hereford should benefit from playing on a better surface and bigger pitch at Edgar Street.
Forest Green were hoping to entice Ryan Williams back to the Lawn for another loan spell. Williams was at Aldershot when the Bulls played there last September. But it appears that Williams is to join Crawley on a two and a half year deal. (Update 1pm: Williams has joined Aldershot)
The loan spell of Guy Madjo was up yesterday and as yet it is unknown whether he will be in the starting line-up tomorrow. Manager Garry Owers was said to be hoping that Bristol City would allow Madjo to stay at the Lawn for the rest of the season.
Alex Meecham was injured and may not feature. However, whatever their line-up Forest Green will go into this game full of confidence. Hereford will need to be at their best to take all three points.
