John McGrath is now reputed to have signed for Conference South side Weymouth.
After apparently sealing a deal to sign for Scarboro on Tuesday, after rejecting Exeter's overtures, he was promptly poached by Forest Green who reputedly offered £200 per week more than Scarboro - with Scarboro manager Neil Redfearn quoted last night as saying: "We could not match the wages offered by Forest Green."
Now the Exeter Express and Echo reports that McGrath has taken an even higher offer from Weymouth for his services.
