Graham Turner, the Hereford United manager, told the NLP after yesterday's match against Crawley that he was thankful for the points.
"It's a sign of resilance that when you are not playing well you can still get the points," said Turner.
"That sort of side can win things. Last year and the year before we would have lost games like that.
"We knew from reports we have had that Crawley are well-organised and have some useful players and try to play.
"That proved to be the case and I think you have to forget their position in the league. They are a decent side and like Scarborough and Forest Green, they will cause some upsets at the top of the table.
"I am thankful for the three points and that we have got Crawley out of the way. As poorly as we played today, Crawley made life difficult for us and gave us little room to play."
